Pumpkin Patch Pallet

Fall is in the air, I can feel it! And that means one thing at our house: PUMPKINS!

Our Pumpkin Patch pallet is a warm, adorable and personalized way to greet your guests and get them in the fall mood!

It started out as stand alone pumpkins that looked right at home in our garden.

I even added a sign at one point:

Then one Saturday last October, while relaxing on my mom's porch she said we should turn the pumpkins into a pallet and alas the Pumpkin Patch Pallet was born!

What you need for this project:

1/2 of a small pallet for the base

7 pieces of fence wood from Lowes (or how ever many pieces you need for your family and

that fit on your pallet!)

Small package of wood stakes to use as the pumpkin stems

Orange Paint

Green Paint

Black Paint

White Paint

To assemble the pallet:

1 - Start by painting your half pallet green.

2- Cut the fence wood to the height you would like the pumpkins to stand above the half pallet. Make sure to cut the wood so that you preserve the top of the fence wood to make the top of the pumpkins.

3 - Save one piece of the left over wood to make the "God Bless the Pumpkin Patch" sign to attach to your pallet at the end.

4 - Paint your cut fence wood pumpkin orange! (you may need to do two or three coats)

5 - Add the eyes by making white ovals and outlining them in black and adding a small black oval inside.

6 - Add personalized names if you wish.

7 - attach a small piece of a wood stake, painted green, to the top for the stem. We attached our using a screw.

8 - Assemble the pallet by screwing the individual pumpkins to the pallet in at least two places.

9- Create and add a sign if you wish!

The next time we make this pallet I will be sure to post step by step pictures to help guide you through the process. In the mean time, if you have any questions let me know!

If you live in the Tampa or Orlando area we can do the work for you and you can pick it up! Check out our Holiday Pallet section!

Happy Fall Y'all!!
